You won’t believe what Janice from Friends sounds like in real life
“God.” phrase we all loved, as well as the laugh, while fans on Twitter actually were shocked that wasn’t her actual voice.

The actress who played Janice, Maggie Wheeler, joined Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes on The Morning couch to talk about Friends Fest in London.
We are under no illusion that actors and actresses just use their normal voices for shows and movies but she does sound completely different.
Is that really her?
“Her voice is sooooo different to Janice’s voice, oh my life!” screeched someone else.
While another viewer said: ‘Wish Maggie Wheeler had Janice’s voice in real life #ThisMorning’.
Talking about how she came up with her famous laugh, Maggie said she prepared it ahead of the first rehearsal.
Matthew Perry is so amusing and working with him, I knew right away!
Actress Maggie Wheeler was only supposed to star in one episode of the comedy but ended up being a recurring character across the 10 years it aired as she became the boomerang ex for Chandler Bing.
Despite the series ending over a decade ago, Maggie says she’s still recognised everywhere she goes.
Surprisingly, Maggie doesn’t sound anything like her character, but said the laugh came because of one of her co-stars: “I think it was just this progression how Janice evolved. It was a joyous experience”, she said.
