Young Han Solo meets Chewie in trailer of new ‘Star Wars’ spinoff
In addition to the trailer, the filmmakers have also released a new poster for Solo. We may be looking forward to it, but it doesn’t mean we don’t have our doubts. You can watch the official theatrical trailer below. Not a “bad feeling about this”, but a “good” one. “Money? Or is it something else?” “190 yrs old? You look great!”

Solo is basically the backstory of everyone’s favourite loveable rogue turned rebel turned hero, Han Solo, following his youthful foray into galactic crime.
Perhaps the most intriguing new element shown is the film’s scarred-up crime boss villain, Dryden Vos (Paul Bettany), who is seen wielding what appears to be double-sided lightsaber-edged karambit blades.
This time, the take on the phrase not only keeps up with the tongue-in-cheek aspect of Han’s journey but it informs the character’s past as a young, hopeful pilot before circumstances turned him into someone worthy a hefty bounty. Are you related to Quinlan, by any chance?

Taking a look at this Trailer, there should be some nice moments with Chewbacca and Lando for fans to relish. We are so sold on Glover’s Lando. A common Star Wars staple is a chippy robot and we get to finally hear British writer/actor Phoebe Waller-Bridge chirp away as L3-37. Although we don’t find out the answer to her question just yet, we do see that Han has been recruited by Woody Harrelson’s Tobias Beckett to help with a job. Beckett’s final words are delivered darkly: “Assume everyone will betray you and you’ll never be disappointed”. That’s some tough Thala Siren milk to swallow, and knowing Han, it’s a lesson he forgets every now and then. However, Solo would only have a five-month gap between it and The Last Jedi. While Solo’s first teaser only offered a glimpse of his performance, this trailer allowed us to get a much better idea of what to expect from his version of the Scoundrel. The trailer is probably the best one for it to date and gives me hope it at least will be fun.
