Producer Metro Boomin ruffled a few feathers this week, when he slammed rappers for what he feels is a blatant rip-off of Future’s formula for success.

Atlanta producer Metro Boomin sent out a few very loaded tweets where he insinuated that DS2 rapper Future was the root of a number of trends happening. Apparently putting out 5 mixtapes in a year won’t work for everyone!
What are your thoughts on Metro’s “Quality music over the quantity” statement? That was just his path. It’s not for everyone. Future Hendrix responded to Thugger’s tweets about him this morning with at least one subtweet of his own.
Even though Metro Boomin does not name a specific rapper, Young Thug took offense to the comments.
“Hey @MetroBoomin who u referring to????” he wrote on twitter, “Put a few names on that shit lil boy @MetroBoomin”. Young Thug tweeted, “I think if you guys were to stop drinking so much cheap liquor and high-tech syrup you would be able to think before speaking and typing”.

A brand new rap feud erupted when Young Thug couldn’t stand hearing a compliment that went out to Future on social media and chose to slam Ciara’s ex by comparing himself and Future by saying, “A n*** music couldn’t ever sound nowhere near mines….” “I have nun in the world against future I listen to his music His music makes me happy and I hope he continues to bless me and others with it”, he states.
