“Younger” star Sutton Foster joins “Gilmore Girls” revival

Series stars Lauren Graham, who played Rory’s mother, Lorelai, and Bledel announced their involvement with the revival as soon as Netflix unveiled the project. Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Sean Gunn and Keiko Agena will return as Luke, Emily, Kirk and Lane, respectively. If youve already seen every moment of Rory Gilmore onscreen existence, you should know that she went through a few serious boyfriends on the series, Dean, Jess and Logan.

Early January of this year, Netflix announced that the show’s episode titles will get their names from the four seasons of the year: Summer, Winter, Fall, and Autumn.

Amy Sherman-Palladino is the creator and executive producer.

Gilmore Girls, which aired between 2000 and 2007, is set in Stars Hollow, a storybook CT town populated by an eclectic mix of dreamers, artists and everyday folk.

More as we hear it.

The original cast of the Gilmore Girls appear to be following where Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel lead. Rory didn’t beat Paris at everything, Paris lost her virginity first. Instead of reverting to his old James Dean ways, Jess will continue to be the same responsible young adult that managed to open his own small press. The limited run series will be composed of four 90-minute episodes as opposed to the typical season format. It will be set shortly after the death of the Gilmore family patriarch, Richard, played by legendary actor Edward Herrmann. Melissa McCarthy, who played Lorelai’s chef Sookie, said that she hasn’t been invited to take part in the new episodes.

As for Padalecki’s current work commitments, both “Supernatural” and the “Gilmore Girls” revival are produced by Warner Bros.
