Liz Green tweeted: “How are our children meant to pass exams if they keep being sent home?”
West Midlands Police has told Heart it includes four schools in Sandwell, one in Dudley and one in south Birmingham.
A number of schools said they would remain closed for the rest of the day. In Cornwall, local police said calls to four schools “suggesting a potential security threat” were made at around 8 a.m. Tuesday.
The threat to the school, on Pound Road, compromised the safety of staff and pupils which prompted the ecvacuation and closure.
Anyone with information which may aid officers should call police on 101.
The local authorities responsible for the schools confirmed they were evacuated to “ensure the safety of pupils”.
“We supported the schools with their decision to put the children’s safety first”.
Ricard’s Lodge High School in Wimbledon and Raynes Park High School were thought to be two of the schools affected.
Bristnall Hall and Oldbury Academy were involved in similar threats last week.
‘We are working with West Midlands Police on this incident but would like to reassure parents that the situation was dealt with quickly and safely and there are no suggestions of any threat to any other schools in the Dudley borough’.
The account, which said in its biography “we are six individuals based internationally” and offered an email address for bomb threat requests, claimed it acted “everywhere”.
Bristnall Hall Academy said it had also evacuated children. “At this stage, the incidents are being treated as malicious communications”, said a spokesperson.

‘They also wasted valuable police time which would have been better spent targeting criminals, supporting victims and preventing crimes’.
