Finally, Facebook will also be unveiling a Video section which will feature a collection of your saved videos as well as videos from friends and Pages you’re interested in.

Downloading from YouTube is normally a tough task.

Google thinks it has the answer for both viewers and content producers: YouTube Red, a $10-per-month subscription service that grants you ad-free access to virtually all of YouTube’s video vault.

Save any video offline with the YouTube Android or iOS apps. YouTube later clarified that it would be paying out YouTubers’ money from its Google Play Music subscription fund – though the exact amount that they’ll receive hasn’t been confirmed – but a lot of damage had already been done. Free users get to watch a few of the videos on the site, but they’ll have to upgrade to a subscription plan to view videos from other top content creators. The firm says, “you’ll experience YouTube without video ads, be able to save videos to watch offline, and play videos in the background on your mobile device, all for $9.99 a month”. While YouTubers do have the option to not sign their channel up to Red, if they do so their videos are automatically made private, meaning that they can’t earn any ad revenue from them.

This is a great feature for those that want to watch YouTube videos during a plane ride, but the on-board WiFi may not be all that great (and it usually never is). Here’s what the market knows about YouTube Red, and you can easily make inferences yourself on whether the service can help Alphabet make money from the social side of its Google business.

With that said, you could think of it as paying for Google Play Music and getting YouTube Red for free, or vice versa. Right at the foot of the video, tap on the small download icon after choosing the format in which you would like to save the video.

But YouTube Red feels liberating: there’s no dreading an irritating advertisement every time I go to launch a new video.

Sure, they get money from ads, and there a few YouTubers who rake in the dough, but there are also a ton of great YouTubers who can barely make ends meet, and this is where YouTube Red could really come in handy. These services are great for somebody who rarely downloads videos, thus sees no point in installing or using TubeMate.

We don’t know a whole lot about this just yet, but it seems that YouTube Red subscribers will have access to exclusive YouTube videos from popular YouTubers. However, YouTube has once again taken advantage of their dominance in the video-sharing space by treating its creators as though they are not worthy of an explanation, with them being left to anxiously question whether or not their income will be negatively impacted, and forcing them to sign up to a new agreement with no real insurance that their finances won’t take a hit.
