Raisman added: “I feel like I’m better than I am in 2012, so I’m very proud of that”.
Manuel said she hasn’t yet soaked in all of her Olympic journey, but there’s definitely something she wants to do right away. “It’s rewarding but I think we’ll get used to it”. As exhausted as she was, she nailed her performance, beating out team-mate and silver medallist Aly Raisman by.466 points. She also took home silver in the all-around and gold in the team competition.

Biles scored a 15.966 in the floor exercise final with a series of hard moves executed to near-perfection, including the signature move named for her.
