Zac Efron No Longer Capable of Naming “High School Musical” Songs
If you remember, there’s a classic scene where Efron (Troy Bolton) and his real-life ex and on-screen love Vanessa Hudgens (Gabriella Montez) sing “Breaking Free” to their peers. The reporter plays the intro to “Breaking Free”, and Zac knows it’s from High School Musical. Oh, the name of the song?

We Are Your Friends is out in cinemas this Thursday (August 27).
The game starts out OK with the trio naming off Beyonce’s “Drunk in Love” and Justice Vs Simian’s “We Are Your Friends” easily. Efron said in his defense.
Before we get into Zac’s failings, we also need to take a moment to applaud shade queen Emily Ratajkowski who drops not one but two vicious bombs on the Cosmopolitan interviewer within five seconds at the beginning of this clip. He and co-stars Ratajkowski and Joseph had no single clue about One Direction’s “Steal My Girl” not even with Cosmo’s prodding that the song is actually from “one of the biggest band’s in the world guys!”
After making several incorrect guesses, the hunky heartthrob really began racking his brain before eventually guessing correctly with Breaking Free.

High School Musical fans, you may want to take a deep breath. Joseph teased him about this to which Efron replied that “there were three movies of songs”, sort of apologetic.
