Following in the footsteps of our current president – and, uh, Justin Bieber – Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton dropped by the Zach Galifianakis-hosted amusing or Die mock-interview series “Between Two Ferns”. Galifianakis asked a stone-faced Clinton.

Democratic presidential candidate appears on “Between Two Ferns” with comedian interviewer Zach Galifianakis. When Clinton asks him why he’d chose to include a Trump commercial, Galifianakis responds, “He paid me in steaks”.
“You know, Zach, those are really out-of-date questions”, Clinton responds.
“Ahh, I’m not down with TPP”, replies Clinton.
ZG: What happens if you get pregnant? “Are we gonna be stuck with [Vice Presidential candidate] Tim Kaine for nine months? How does this work?”
“Oh, I think it absolutely proves their case, don’t you?”
With the November 8 election around the corner and the race with Republican nominee Donald Trump tightening, Clinton’s appearance on the buzz-generating show appeared aimed at showing a more playful side.
“Or maybe a white power tie”, Galifianakis said.
Before it even got started, she watched unmoved as the Secret Service tackled a masked man sneaking up from behind her.
According to the show’s executive producer, it was Clinton herself who had the idea to do the show, and the episode was mostly improvised. He’s done Justin Bieber, Barack Obama and now Hillary Clinton.
The candidate also said she is “not down” with President Obama’s Trans-Pacific Partnership deal.
The interview ends with Clinton blinking her eyes and looking frustrated.
The former secretary of state actually said she regretted the interview in a comment that was unclear whether it was meant to be a joke, but she should. “We couldn’t believe it”. We’re pretty sure (?) she’s kidding.
Moments later, Galifianakas interrupted Clinton discussing the economy with a “word from our sponsors” cutting abruptly to a Trump campaign video. I don’t think he would do it …
