Mind of Mine is due out March 25, which, coincidentally, is exactly one year after Malik left One Direction.
Last week, Zayn was trolled by Directioners after unveiling Like I Would – taken from his upcoming debut album Mind of Mine – with many fans pointing out similarities to 1D tune I Would.
“Time for me to move up/ So many hours have gone/ Heart beats the pump of my blood/ No strings for you to pull on”, he sings. An instrumental version of the track was set to various shots in the video.
This latest track release hopes to match the success of his debut track Pillowtalk which went to the number one spot in the United Kingdom and USA earlier this year (16).
