Zidane completes Champions League hat-trick as Real reach 11th heaven

You couldn’t have scripted a more heartbreaking Champions League final defeat for Atletico Madrid, just two years after they let a 1-0 lead slip into 4-1 defeat in extra time to the same team.

Real Madrid fans descended into the streets of the Spanish capital in the early hours of Sunday morning to celebrate a historic 11th European Cup win after beating local rivals Atletico Madrid on penalties.
