Zika Can Cause Birth Defects in Monkeys Too

“Our results remove any lingering doubt that the Zika virus is incredibly unsafe to the developing foetus and provide details as to how brain injury develops”, said Kristina Adams Waldorf, professor of obstetrics at the University of Washington and lead author of the study.
