Zimmerman’s Gun Up For Auction A Third Time
As of late Saturday evening, there were no bids on the listing, which carried a minimum bid of $100,000 and an instant purchase price of $500,000.

“This is not about George Zimmerman for us”.
Zimmerman had listed the gun used in the shooting for auction on UnitedGunGroup.com Thursday after his first listing Wednesday on GunBroker.com was removed by the website’s curators.
The former neighborhood watch volunteer sparked intense debate on social media last week when he offered to sell the Kel-Tec PF9 9mm handgun, which he described in the auction listing as “an American firearm icon” that he had used to defend his life against Martin.
Todd Underwood, the creator of the website UnitedGunGroup.com, that is helping sell the gun, said he is doing nothing wrong. The article claimed that Kendrick had bought the gun from Zimmerman’s online auction and proceeded to destroy it onstage at a concert.
Zimmerman confirmed with ABC News the listing for the gun that was temporarily pulled when hackers posted fake bids topping $65 million has been re-listed minus the bogus bids.
The site’s owner – Tom Underwood – said they won’t interfere with the sale.
Since then, the gun auction site has taken down the bid for Zimmerman’s gun after it faced harsh public backlash.
The United Gun Group said in a statement on Facebook on Saturday that Zimmerman had temporarily withdrawn the auction to remove the false bidders but planned to relist “his property” this week.

Some don’t believe the 17-year-old Martin attacked Zimmerman the night he was killed, but rather was unfairly profiled and singled out by Zimmerman in his gated Orlando-area community – and once he was confronted, began fighting for his life.
