‘Zoolander’ Stars Hilariously Confuse Ted Cruz & Tom Cruise on ‘SNL’
The pair were notionally there to talk fashion week, but quickly hijacked the discussion with some highly… um… incisive political commentary, taking a swat at Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders’ sartorial choices.

Stiller’s Derek Zoolander and Wilson’s Hansel clearly had something to say about politics and it just turned out to be related to fashion.
Actually, it’s easier if we just let him explain it. “Bernie is a champion of the 99 percent”.
“Hillary’s style reminds me of one of my all-time fashion icons, Kim Jong-Un”. “I’m pretty good friends with his sister, Kim Kardashi-un”. But instead of going head to head with Larry David (a.k.a. SNL’s Bernie Sanders), Sanders faced off with another Larry David character who was having trouble getting along with the rest of the 99 percent. Hansel also jumped in: “Look at that suit”. “Hey, Chernobyl called, they want their disaster back”.
Blue Steel and Hansel also confused candidate Ted Cruz with Tom Cruise. Or really, politicians’ fashion sense. “This is a real mission impossible for his stylist”.

“Makes me want to keep my eyes wide shut”, Hansel agreed. Zoolander raved. For instance: “Orange Mocha Crappacino“, “Hot Mess“, and the most recent addition to his roster, “Second Place“. Celebrating the world premiere of fashion comedy Zoolander No 2, Ben Stiller whipped out an 8.56m selfie stick and broke a world record in the process.
