Ron Galella/WireImage Zsa Zsa Gabor was taken to the hospital on Monday after experiencing breathing issues.

The Moulin Rouge actress, who hasn’t been seen in public for years, was previously hospitalised after developing a severe throat infection in 2012.

Gabor was having difficulty breathing, according to her husband Frederic von Anhalt.

The former Miss Hungary spent a stretch of time at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center after the amputation of her right leg in 2011.

Her two late sisters, Magda and Eva, were similarly famous, with the latter notably starring on the mega-popular, farm-based sitcom “Green Acres” for six seasons from 1965 to 1971.

Von Anhalt explained that his wife “doesn’t know” that she is fed through a feeding tube.

‘It will only upset her. She was so glamorous always, and she is so vain, ‘ he reasoned.

Zsa Zsa Gabor turned 99 last week. Regardless, the best of luck to Gabor and her family – and CDL will keep you updated on Gabor’s most recent health crisis. Is she making her own medical decisions?
