ZTE Announces 64GB Axon Pro & Axon For The U.S.
ZTE introduced the Axon earlier this year, but the smartphone wasn’t really available for purchase in the United States.

“ZTE added two new additions to the Axon lineup based on consumer feedback”. It’s good to see ZTE offering a more affordable version of its flagship Axon Pro, but at a price difference of $70, it seems like you might be better off saving a bit more cash and going with the Axon Pro, which has beefier specs that’ll help the phone be a good performer for a longer period of time.
The Axon family now consists of the following three models: Axon, Axon Pro 32GB, Axon Pro 64GB, Axon Mini, Axon Max, and the Axon Watch. The 32GB model Axon will still be available as well, though it is getting updated to the name Axon Pro and will come with a price drop from $450 to $399.98.
ZTE’s devices in the USA aren’t exactly the most notable, considering it is content to battle it out in the mid-tier, unlocked smartphone market.
With the exception of more storage, the new Axon Pro will have all of the same features as the previously released model, including a 3000 mAh battery, 2K HD displays and a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset.
In comparison, the new ZTE Axon takes the specs down a notch.
The Axon series features premium metal and glass casing with a distinctive grill, ergonomic button placement, a smooth metal casing, and a glass quad HD display. Sophisticated color contrast is available in three options, Phthalo Blue, Ion Gold, and Chromium Silver. With more than 20 million US customers, 66 actively selling devices across all USA wireless carriers, ZTE has the proven experience to build and deliver quality mobile devices that you can be confident choosing.

The first thing you will notice about the Axon is the attractive design that looks like a cross between OnePlus One and HTC One M8.
