ZTE announces the Blade D6 with high-grade aluminum alloy body

ZTE, after launching its premium smartphone dubbed Axon in the U.S, on Wednesday launched its mid-range ZTE Blade D6 in the ongoing Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2015. It may look familiar, but it doesn’t look cheap although we’ve yet to learn the ZTE Blade D6 price. The D6 will pull its power from a 2,200mAh battery and runs Android 5.0 with MiFavor 3.2 tacked on.
ZTE announced the new Blade D6 smartphones and its first smart home gateway, the ZTE SmartHome, at the Mobile World Congress Shanghai.
Apart from that, we have a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz pulling the strings on the inside, in combination with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Designed with selfie lovers in mind, it also sports an 88-degree wide-angle 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Users would also have a bunch of pre-installed photography features such as beautification options, a smile shutter function, high definition continuous shooting and auto panorama and more.

The Smart Home gateway enables users to communicate with home devices ranging from light switches to baby monitors via ZigBee and LTE connections. The smartphone also comes with a ‘3 in 2′ tray holder, which allows for a micro-SIM to be used along with a Nano-SIM (which also doubles as a microSD card slot). The smartphone is scheduled to roll out within the next few months in Russian Federation, Australia and Japan in Silver, Pink, Gold and Grey.
