Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, alongside his wife Priscilla Chan, met with Pope Francis on Monday and gave him exactly what you would expect from a tech CEO: a drone.

– Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg seems to have built the artificial intelligence he said he is going to use to control his house, Engadget reports.

The meeting was held at the Santa Marta residence, where the Pope lives.

The 32-year-old Zuckerberg and Chan were in Italy to attend the wedding of a friend, Spotify co-founder Daniel Ek, which took place Sunday at Lake Como in northern Italy.

Zuckerberg updated his personal page on Facebook with a photo of himself giving the Pope a model of Aquila, a solar-powered aircraft that Facebook hopes will expand Internet access in developing countries. “You can feel his warmth and kindness, and how deeply he cares about helping people”.

The Aquila drone, which has a wingspan of over 113 feet – bigger than a Boeing 737 – just completed its first official test flight this summer.

They said that the 99 percent of Facebook shares is worth about $45 billion, which will go into programs based on “personalized learning, curing disease, connecting people and building strong communities”.

He said that social media application now allowed the use of Hausa language on Facebook.

Zuckerberg’s Italian trip, which included a Q&A session in Rome and a meeting with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, comes less than a week after a massive quake rocked several small villages in central Italy. The CEO hosted a Townhall Q&A in Rome, which was live-streamed on Facebook, as well.
